Green Tie is our most important fundraising event of the year supporting all Council programs. The Green Tie event is a great opportunity to celebrate our successes and honor an outstanding leader in Tennessee with the presentation of the Sustainable Tennessee Award.

Our 2020 Green Tie celebration will be held in conjunction with our 50th anniversary celebration in December of 2020. The exact date and location are yet to be determined.

Thank You 2020 Sponsors!

Sustainable Tennessee Award

In 2019, we presented the Sustainable Tennessee Award to James DeMouy, Bridgestone Americas Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability, for his exemplary contributions in advancing environmental sustainability in Tennessee.

Volunteer of the Year Award

And we surprised Buzz Evans with a special Volunteer of the Year Award for going above and beyond in supporting Tennessee pollinator habitat at the Nashville Greenfield Restoration Project.
