In order to succeed, we are now recruiting CLEANUP LEADERS, who will take the initiative to organize a cleanup in their community. TEC and partners will assist Cleanup Leaders by providing guidance
The Greater Nashville Litter Cleanup, organized by Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) and partners, is a Davidson County litter cleanup day taking place on October 19-20, 2024. Our goal with this event is to clean up at least 10,000 pounds of litter in one weekend across the County. That's 5 tons!
Davidson County Litter Cleanups
In addition to The Greater Nashville Litter Cleanup, we are organizing 30 individual litter cleanup events in Davidson County between August 2024 and December 31, 2025. This effort is funded by the Metro Water Services’ Davidson County Riparian Cleanup Grant.
