1. The Second Annual TEC Benefit Concert will be held Thursday, November 3 at the Belcourt Theatre. 4. The Tennessee Water Quality Control Board will hold and open forum at its next scheduled meeting, October 25, 2005.  The purpose of this forum is to allow citizens of the state of Tennessee to voice opinions or concerns about water quality in the state.  It is valuable if these comments are specific to the laws and rules governing water quality in Tennessee.  For instance, TEC has commented on and will reiterate the need for stronger regulations to prevent pollution from concentrated animal feeding operations.

 

The public is invited to attend this forum, which will be held at the TDEC offices, L&C Tower - 17th Floor Conference Room, 401 Church Street, Nashville, TN.  The meeting will begin at 10:00 am on October 25.  Those interested in improved water quality are encouraged to attend.

5.
